THE MISSION

QUALITY EARLY CHILDHOOD PROGRAMS

The Mission of Westbrook Academy Childcare and Learning Center is to provide access to a quality early childhood program to the children of Arnold, Missouri and surrounding areas.  We feel that all children deserve to be cared for by compassionate and educated adults.  They deserve nutritious foods and to learn about nutrition and caring for their bodies.

A STRONG FOUNDATION FOR A LIFETIME OF LEARNING AND ACHIEVEMENTS

We strive to work with families to teach children good hygiene, exercise and sleep routines.  Our curriculum is developmentally appropriate and fun, encouraging early language and literacy; a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning and achievement.  No child is denied entry to our Christian community of  learners because of ability, race, ethnicity or religion.

WE EXTEND FRIENDSHIP AND ACCEPTANCE

We embrace diversity and celebrate differences.  God knew it could get boring if we were all the same. Our inclusion program further demonstrates our mission to welcome all children regardless of physical or cognitive delay or disability.  There is so much to be gained when children learn at an early age to navigate themselves in a world of differences by extending friendship and acceptance.

WE’RE AN ACTIVE PARICIPANT IN THE BETTERMENT OF OUR COMMUNITY

Because we are participants in community efforts to strengthen families (Jefferson County Early Childhood Comprehensive System and Jefferson County Community Partnership’s Project COPE), our school strives to be a stabilizing force for children and their families and an active participant in the betterment of our community.
